MTA struggles with closing $400 milion budget gap while its employee allegedly steals $150,000

With the MTA struggling with a $400 million budget gap, an MTA supervisor earning $83,000 a year has been charged with stealing $150,000 from the authority.

Jacqueline Jackson, 51, was the head of the Legal Support Unit in New York City Transit’s Law Department. Jackson allegedly arranged two scams involving two other people that she split the money with. All three pleaded not guilty.
